Promoting sustainable development means combining economic growth with the demands of human and social development, quality of life and environmental protection with a view to achieving long-term well-being.

With over 2,400 companies and 12,000 direct employees in the Wellness industry, the Wellness Valley boasts an exceptional concentration of businesses, products and services that focus on people and their quality of life and offer innovative solutions in areas such as physical exercise and the management of sport facilities, organic nutrition, health, environmental care and much more. These sectors continue to grow and are drivers of innovation for the whole territory.

Every year, over one and a half million people visit the Wellness Valley to participate in trade fairs and business events that deal with quality of life issues. These events provide a platform for the industry’s leading companies and experts to promote advanced and sustainable solutions for their sectors and are a reference point in the international panorama.


With its 80,000 visitors and more than 1000 exhibitors from 30 countries around the world, Ecomondo is the leading event in Europe for the new models of circular economy.

An international exhibition with an innovative format that brings together all sectors of the green and circular economy in a single platform: from the recovery of materials and energy to sustainable development.

Ecomondo is a reference point in the international panorama, and the ideal place to meet all the leading companies of the sector, discover the trends, innovations and new technologies and exchange views with sector professionals, research bodies and institutional representatives on the necessities, challenges and opportunities regarding the reuse and valorisation of organic and no-organic waste, the alternative raw materials and the industrial eco-design, the reclamation and rehabilitation of contaminated areas and the bio-economy.

Since 2009, Ecomondo has also displayed the Sustainable City, a city model  featuring technological and mobility solutions for life quality improvement and sustainable territorial development.


Macfrut is a B2B event that stands out for its high specialization in all segments of the fruit and vegetable supply chain: in fact, it is the only vertical trade fair in Europe representing the entire sector. A platform for business meetings, conferences and many related events offering not only a chance to do business but also an increasingly international and quality opportunity to learn about this industry and examine it in depth.

Macfrut is a trade fair rich in contents:  over 55.000 sqm devoted to innovation in the fruit and vegetable industry, including field demonstrations for the presentation of the most advanced mechanical solutions for horticulture.

The last edition was attended by 39,000 visitors.


Versatile, elegant, technological, eco sustainable. A venue that adapts to any shape or size of event. Set in an urban landscape, just a short walk from the historical centre of Rimini. Designed by renowned architect Volkwin Marg, from the Hamburg based GMP Studio, the structure is highly versatile and innovative, with 39 rooms accommodating from 20 to 4.700 guests, and a total seating capacity of 9.000. The exhibition area covers 11.000 sqm.


Palacongressi di Rimini is Italy’s first ever Wellness congress location. It proposes a new way of interpreting time spent at a meeting or convention by giving every delegate the chance to take care of themselves even during long working days thanks to specially equipped areas, services and activities that can help body and mind stay in shape.

The project stems from a collaboration between the Convention Bureau della Riviera di Rimini and the Wellness Foundation.


Technogym Village has been developed as a hotbed of ideas, where innovation, information and scientific research can be shared. It is the world’s first Wellness Campus, and acts as a global reference point for the Wellness industry and for the promotion of the Wellness Lifestyle.

Technogym Village is the company’s headquarters, where staff and visitors can develop, promote and enjoy every aspect of the wellness lifestyle.

It is the place where innovation comes to life each and every day, inspired by the building’s natural light, shapes and materials, principally glass, wood and steel, according to eco-sustainable principles to create an excellent working environment.

The Technogym Village hosts several areas dedicated to innovation and scientific research including the T-Research & Development and the T-Wellness Science Centre, and to Wellness culture education, such as the Technogym University, the T-Wellness Center and the T-Wellness Restaurant.

The consortium Romagna Iniziative was founded in 1996 by some of the most dynamic entrepreneurs of the Province of Forlì-Cesena who share a strong sense of social responsibly and firmly believe that sustainable development goes hand in hand with youth development and human resource development.

Thanks to this commitment, Romagna Iniziative supports more than 40 local sport clubs involving 10,000 young people every year in the practice of different disciplines, and encourages knowledge sharing by organising art and cultural events.
